As we all know, the climate challenge has become a major issue.
Keen to leave as few traces as possible, Les 2 Marmottes is accelerating its positioning and joining the Convention des Entreprises pour le Climat (CEC) .
Anchored in its territory in Bons-en-Chablais, Les 2 Marmottes has been involved for many years through various initiatives:
- A production of infusions and teas 100% made in France and 100% plants , without ever added flavors .
- Local partners : Messageries Annemassiennes for transport, Vigier packaging for packaging, the ESAT of Vétraz-Montoux.
- Sourcing of plants and packaging carried out in a short circuit .
- Bags that contain no string, glue, or staples. Recyclable overwraps, compostable tea bags, and plastic-free packaging.
Certified organic since 2015, our SME has also been IFS certified since 2017 and labeled PME+ .
And to go even further, it is joining the Convention of Businesses for the Climate.
The Business Climate Convention is a private initiative launched by 150 executives who will work for eight months on concrete solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
It will begin in September and end in May 2022.
Les 2 Marmottes will be represented by Christian Polge, its President.
