Heatwave. Heatwave. Rising temperatures. When the weather of the last few days can be summed up in three words, there's no doubt about it. The first heatwaves have arrived, and we have a perfect idea for coping with them: iced infusions in granita.
"Granita Siciliana," or granita in French, comes straight from Sicily and has been known since ancient times. The Romans even brought snow from the Abruzzo massif, a region in south-central Italy, to make this dessert.
At Les 2 Marmottes, there's no question of trekking across snowy peaks; the recipes we've concocted for you are much simpler to make:
- Crushed ice
- Your favorite cold infusions
- A few hours to wait
- And that's it
Come refresh your ideas with our granita recipes, 100% plant-based, sugar-free and without added flavors.
