What are the benefits of rose in infusions?

In the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, the rose became less bling-bling: the rose was used as a remedy for depression. Tonic and astringent, it perfumes everyday life and makes it lighter!
Which rose is used in Les 2 Marmottes infusions?
The roses selected by the 2 Marmottes are harvested in spring in the heart of Morocco, around Kelaat, a small town known for its famous "Rose Festival!": every year in May, the inhabitants celebrate the arrival of roses from the Dadès and M'Goun valleys (the population of Kelaat doubles during these 4 days of celebration!).
On site, Omar, our producer , harvests by hand and one by one the petals and buds of these precious flowers .
