When you're pregnant, you have a lot of existential questions, including about plants! Which ones can you eat? Which plants should you absolutely avoid? We take stock*.
We can't tell you this enough: pregnancy is above all an opportunity to take care of yourself!
Rest, take life on the bright side and do yourself some good: eat healthily, meditate, breathe, make yourself a herbal tea, read a book... In short, take time for yourself.
A herbal tea and we read! For 9 months, there will be ups... and maybe downs. Morning sickness, constipation, water retention, heartburn, migraines: let's face it, pregnancy isn't always a bed of roses. Instead of struggling, we suggest you dig into your herbal tea box:
- Do you have heavy legs and swollen ankles? Prepare an infusion with red vine leaves right away.
- Are you fed up with nausea? Try our Chamomile infusion, in small quantities throughout the day.
- Is your digestion playing tricks on you? Find a little comfort in lemon balm (it's also effective for the nervous system), with our 1,2,3...Sleep herbal tea.
- Is your stomach on fire? Soothe it with a fennel infusion.
- Do you have headaches and is your pregnancy getting on your nerves? Dip a Linden tea bag into a little hot water.
- Are you tense? Verbena , of course.
And if you're used to drinking tea, good news! Our Rooibos-Blackcurrant contains no theine or caffeine!
Just because herbs are a natural remedy does not mean they are all compatible with pregnancy.
Some can cause spasms and are even strictly forbidden for pregnant women, such as juniper, licorice, yarrow, guarana , etc.
* Every pregnancy requires medical advice. Our marmots invite you to seek advice from your doctor, gynecologist, or midwife before tasting our infusions.
