The principle of a milkshake is to juggle several ingredients: milk, of course, fruit, why not, a little water, sugar, and ice cubes. We even add plants for an original hibiscus milkshake recipe...
The marmot milkshake version puts plants in the spotlight, of course!
The pretty red flower of the hibiscus is as beautiful to look at as it is good to infuse, and at the burrow we love its tangy notes.
You don't know rosehip? It's the fruit (or false fruit, technically, the master brewers whisper in our earpieces) of the wild rose. Delicious in herbal tea, and a triple word score in Scrabble!
The combination of the two results in a drink with a summery feel, but one that can be consumed all year round as long as you have a bag of hibiscus tea handy. To make the 2 Marmottes milkshake, you will need...
- of a blender
- of a sachet of our Rosehip Hibiscus infusion
- 70 cl of water
- 75 cl of milk (vegetable or not)
- a small spoonful of cane sugar
- of some ice cubes
- of a lot of love.
To make our milkshake in no time, start by infusing our Rosehip Hibiscus sachet in water (5 minutes at 100°).
Keep cool.
Once the temperature has dropped, put all the ingredients in your blender, press the "on" button and you're done.
Serve in a tall glass with a pretty cardboard straw (because plastic is really not fantastic).
The 2 Marmottes' tip: if you're not a fan of lactose, you can replace the milk with a plant-based drink made from almonds.
Are you looking for seasonal fruits? To spice up your creamy, subtly flavored Cyno-Hibiscus milkshake , there's nothing like a few fresh raspberries. They'll add color and pep to our recipe. Don't hesitate to keep the raspberry with the best head for the glass decoration.
