Our Marmot's vanilla custard

Whether you're a little acorn or a towering oak, you'll love the sweet, creamy taste of these vanilla desserts. Yodie and Grison are no exception! So, with their new gourmet Vanilla Tea blend, all they had to do was roll up their sleeves and create a quick, easy and original vanilla custard recipe!

A REAL vanilla tea for maximum pleasure

We know you already know, but we're going to say it anyway: for this delicious recipe, we recommend you use our Vanilla tea .  That's right, our Organic Vanilla Tea is one of the few that's 100% plant-based, with real, full vanilla pods with no added flavourings (artificial or natural - we're not cheats!). Nothing, nada, not even a teeny extract. It's a feat which our master infusers and marmots are really proud of, because vanilla is an art form!

The result? A super sweet tea that's round and intense, with floral hint you won't find anywhere else...Perfect for gently perfuming your days (and our little dessert pots too!).

One pot, two pots, three pots, four!

For four small pots of vanilla custard made with tea, here are our marmots' recommendations:

- 2 bags vanilla tea

- 400ml milk (or plant milk)

- 60g sugar

- 2 eggs

You can double or triple the quantities depending on the number of pots you want.

Method for Vanilla custard made with Vanilla Tea

1/ Heat the milk in a saucepan and add the Vanilla Tea sachets to infuse. Remove from the heat before the milk boils. 

2/ In a bowl, beat the eggs one by one and add the sugar. 

3/ Add the tea infused milk. 

4/ Fill an ovenproof dish halfway with water. Pour your custard into your ramekins then stand them in the dish of water.

5/ Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C.

6/ Once the desserts have cooled, chill them for at least 1 hour.

7/ Tuck in!
