Upon tasting, the power of black tea harmoniously blended with the sweet and light notes of bergamot makes this a particularly round and balanced drink. The notes of black tea perceptible at the start gradually give way to the aromatic sweetness of real bergamot, which coats the palate. A subtle, light spicy touch appears on the tongue at the end, brought by cardamom.

With its funny, swollen appearance, the mysterious bergamot, born from a cross between citron and bitter orange, loves to be talked about: with flavors more pronounced than those of lemon, it reveals a powerful citrus taste when its zest is infused; not to mention its slightly fragrant side... Whether you are a morning tea drinker or a fan of Five O'Clock tea, add a dash of milk... so British! It is also a gourmet tea, made without added sugar or sweetener: the hint of stevia leaf (the real plant, not the artificial sweetener) that appears in the recipe gives it just a little herbal "roundness" in the mouth, to naturally enhance the star ingredient (bergamot) and soften the tonicity of the black tea.

There's no right time to enjoy an Earl Grey! Well, there is... anyway. If you're sensitive to caffeine, it's best to avoid drinking black tea late at night.
