A question about this article?

Combien de temps se conservent les infusions et thés ?

Nos maîtres-infuseurs garantissent la stabilité gustative de nos thés et infusions pendant 3 ans après fabrication. C’est seulement au-delà de cette limite qu’il peut y avoir des modifications organoleptiques. La date indiquée en dessous de nos boites d’infusions est une DDM : Date de Durabilité Minimale, c’est à dire que le produit est « à consommer de préférence avant … », contrairement à une DLC : Date Limite d’Utilisation, qui est indiquée sur les produits frais et donc « à consommer jusqu’au… ». Si votre infusion préférée a dépassé sa DDM, pas de panique, elle peut encore être consommée, il n’y a pas de problème sanitaire lié à un éventuel dépassement de la DDM. Seul bémol : les caractères organoleptiques du produit peuvent être légèrement diminués, comme un goût et une odeur éventuellement plus faibles.

Pour des objets cadeaux dans l'esprit du thé, les incontournables, ce sont les coffrets cadeaux thés. Toutes vos recettes sont-elles bio ?

Chez Les 2 Marmottes, on aime l’agriculture biologique, à condition qu’elle respecte nos critères de qualité. Pour nos agriculteurs partenaires, les labels ne sont pas une fin en soi. Nous préférons une plante non bio de qualité, cultivée par un petit producteur passionné, à une plante bio qui ne répondrait pas à nos exigences. Ce qui compte pour nous, ce sont les qualités gustatives et les bienfaits des plantes. Mais chez Les 2 Marmottes, plantes bio ou non, on aime faire les choses bien ! Toutes nos infusions sont soumises à un plan de contrôle microbiologique et chimique, notamment au niveau de la recherche de pesticides, quelle que soit la provenance du produit. Ces contrôles sont réalisés par des laboratoires indépendants, qui nous garantissent l’identification des plantes (variété et espèce) et l’absence de plus de 500 molécules indésirables dont des pesticides et des métaux lourds. Aujourd’hui 1/3 de nos recettes sont composées à 100% de plantes certifiées « Agriculture Biologique ». Est-ce que toutes les infusions et thés sont fabriqués en France ?

Absolument ! Tous les thés et infusions des marmottes sont fabriqués dans notre terrier de Bons-en-Chablais, en Haute-Savoie. Pour éviter toute confusion avec l'origine de la plante "thé" (qui pousse en Asie), on parle techniquement de "conditionnement" pour les thés du terrier.
