If tea does us good on the inside, it is also capable of great things on the outside! Used in many cosmetic products, green tea no longer has to prove itself. As for black tea , it intends to make its way into our toiletry bags...

All our teas

The benefits of green tea as a beverage have long been known, but did you know it can also be a beauty ally ? By looking at the ingredients in natural cosmetics, you'll see that green tea has found its way into lotions, creams, serums, and even masks. It's caught the eye of many brands because of its numerous benefits: while its tannins act as purifiers, its polyphenols protect against free radicals, which are responsible for skin aging.

But green tea doesn't stop there: it also helps preserve skin elasticity, soothes the epidermis, and restores radiance. So, it's a real winner, especially since green tea is suitable for all skin types. A special mention, however, for oily skin, which will appreciate its astringent properties on sebum.

Less popular than its green cousin, black tea Yet it is also making its way into the beauty aisle! It is said to have anti-aging properties thanks to the antioxidants it contains.

If, like Saint Thomas, you only believe what you see, we suggest you try making your own mask: mix some pre-brewed black tea, add green clay, and apply the mixture to your face. After 5 or 10 minutes, rinse with clean water and look in the mirror!

You can also try using black tea bags (brewed and cooled) as compresses to reduce under-eye puffiness. For your homemade cosmetics, always use organic teas without added flavors, such as our Thé Réveillé .

For a full-body action, some people don't hesitate to take the plunge: after letting 4 or 5 tea bags infuse in their bathtub, they dive in with the secret hope of soothing their skin...

We call it " bath tea " (like "tea-infused bath" in good French). Ultra present on social networks and in the pages of the most trendy women's magazines, this well-being ritual seems capable of transforming your bathroom into a spa! "Detoxifying", "relaxing", "soothing", "toning", " anti-stress ", "hydrating", "regenerating", "capable of replenishing your positive energies": those who have tried it seem downright enchanted!

We at the burrow say that it takes all sorts to make a world...
