100% herbal fennel tea

Every part of the fennel is good, from the bulb to the feathery fronds!

At Les 2 Marmottes, our brewmasters work with the little seeds. In collaboration with a family farm that has been growing this vegetable and medicinal plant for 3 generations, they select the best seeds for our fennel infusions and teas. Fruits with a powerful aniseed flavour that exude all their aromas when infused hot or cold.

You can even crunch them after a meal, as is done in traditional Indian restaurants to aid digestion (and give you good breath!). In short, drinking an infusion of fennel seeds is good for you in all respects.

Tasting details

A yellow hue with dark brown tints.

An intense aniseed scent that remains sweet and indulgent, with a plant note brought by the fennel.
The fresh aniseed attack is quite intense, followed by a softer and slightly sweet finish.

What are the benefits of fennel in infusions?

Fennel seeds are the best friends of our digestive system. They're the perfect home remedy to help relieve the discomforts that come with a hearty meal, such as

Spasms ;

Bloating;

Colitis.

And it's not new: these little seeds have been packing a big punch since ancient times! Rich in fiber, essential oils, and vitamins, fennel seeds are not only great for digestion, they're also excellent anti-oxidants.

With the sweet taste of anise and liquorice and a mellow scent, it's no wonder that fennel's popularity has remained strong through the centuries! Sipping on a fennel tea or nibbling a few seeds is pure bliss. All this is thanks to anethole, a very active molecule with a characteristic taste found in two other well-known umbellifers: anise and dill.

Bottom line: for us, a fennel brew is like a delicious ouzo without the headache the next morning! The perfect brew in summer, try this fennel herbal tea as a cold refreshing drink!

And all this without caffeine of course!

When is the best time to drink fennel tea?

Fennel tea can be enjoyed throughout the day, ideally at the end of meals to aid digestion

Fennel contributes to digestion. Enjoy 3 cups per day to assist digestion. Be sure to maintain a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifedata-font. Pregnant people and children under 12 should consult their doctor before consuming. Not intended for people who are hypersensitive to umbellifers.
