What is Eucalyptus used in infusions?

Originally from Australia and also called "Blue Gum", the eucalyptus is a tree which then spread very widely in Mediterranean countries, particularly in Spain.

The harvest of its leaves takes place mainly in spring and early summer.

It will require some height since some trees, with their sublime grey-green foliage, can reach up to 60 m in height.

Why is Eucalyptus used in Les 2 Marmottes infusions?

The notes delivered by eucalyptus immerse us in the heart of nature thanks to its aromas of forest and camphor.

It is never expressed alone but often combined with other flavors for aromatic duos rich in indulgence.

It can also be mixed with thyme and mint for completely invigorating taste combinations.

In which recipes do our master infusers use eucalyptus?

Have we already told you about our latest event, Après-Ski ?

It took our master infusers less than three months to create this brand new recipe, steeped for 5 minutes. The perfect balance of thyme , lemon , and eucalyptus makes for a perfectly seasonal infusion.

At home, we love eucalyptus and especially we love making mixtures with it.

It goes perfectly with ginger in our 7th Heaven infusion , but also with cinnamon in Winter Frissons or with rosemary and mint in Retour de Soirée .
