We hear more and more often about "CSR" without really knowing what it is. CSR is corporate social responsibility... but above all, it is concrete actions, on the ground, to make the world go a little smoother.
Last March, as part of the Excellence Savoie Mont Blanc initiative , in which Les 2 Marmottes is participating, we opened the doors of our burrow to the Savoie Mont-Blanc Agency and 15 partner companies. The goal? To sit down and discuss the topic of CSR, the famous corporate social responsibility.
During this workshop , everyone was able to discuss their own experiences without any jargon, explore avenues for action and share best practices.
To end this day dedicated to CSR in style, Richard, master brewer and CSR manager, gave participants a behind-the-scenes look at our workshop in Bons-en-Chablais: “ Les 2 Marmottes is more than just infusions and teas, it’s a way of life. Infusion is the drink of good taste and common sense: no added flavors , no sugar, no plastic bottles… Just the pleasure and benefits of plants , leaving as few traces as possible, made in France and working with small producers . Simple, practical, natural, healthy .” That says it all!
To keep track of where we stand, we regularly publish a CSR report. This veritable roadmap allows us to review our missions, take stock of our actions, and set our ambitions.
Those of the 2 Marmottes could not be clearer: we want to make 100% herbal infusions available to everyone, with no added flavors, leaving behind as few traces as possible... Like marmots in the wild!
To achieve this, we're working hard on a variety of issues. Starting with our plants, which we cherish, and our loyal producers, with whom we work as much as possible directly and through short supply chains.
At the terrier, we're also fans of homemade products: from selection to tasting to blending the infusions , we do everything ourselves, according to the rules of the art. But our mission doesn't stop there. At Bons-en-Chablais, we also pamper our employees... because we definitely wouldn't want them to drink the cup. Health, safety, solidarity, diversity, parity, skills development: we're keeping an eye on things!
Finally, we think every day about how we can reduce the environmental impact of our activities.
Our goal is to continue growing and inventing new recipes while taking care of the planet . So we pay attention to our carbon footprint, our water and electricity consumption, our waste management, food waste and of course, our packaging. When it comes to CSR, we're definitely not the type to hibernate!
