The 2 Marmottes, they are nature! And this summer, they are taking you on a hike to their favorite spots to help you discover their region, Haute-Savoie. After the Dent d'Oche , grab your best insulated water bottle , your infusions to drink fresh and your backpack, tie your laces, and let's go for a more lakeside walk!
Between alpine pastures, lakes, and rocky mountains, the hike leading to the Presset lake and refuge doesn't do things by halves. From start to finish, from your first steps to your last breath, the landscape is simply magnificent.
To stay hydrated all the way to the summit, keep your water bottle handy. With an iced Menth'Olé Les 2 Marmottes Tea , you'll always find the strength to keep going!
The cherry on the top of the hike is the breathtaking view of the famous Pierra Menta (which gave its name to a legendary race), the sunset over Lake Presset for those who have the good idea of sleeping at the refuge or bivouacking. Not forgetting the little evening infusion that goes well (The Marmots' Infusion! ), to warm up under the Milky Way.
Marmottes' tip: take your time to observe the plants around you.
Rhododendrons, gentians, lilies, wild geraniums, Alpine sow thistles... the local flora will make this intense hike more gentle.
But the pleasant surprises don't stop there: listen carefully - it's not unusual to hear marmots talking about the weather at the door of their burrows - and keep your eyes peeled: with a bit of luck you might spot some ibex in the middle of a fight.
We couldn't tell you about a hike in the Beaufortain region without talking about cheese. And not just any cheese: Beaufort AOP!
If it's so good, it's precisely thanks to the flowers we mentioned earlier: when cows are lucky enough to graze on unspoiled, flowery slopes, they produce good milk... which humans transform into good cheese! QED.
Since we're making a big deal out of it, try the Jasmine Green Tea + Beaufort pairing: you'll tell us what you think!
