Thirst-quenching and richly flavored, traditional mint tea first appeared in the Maghreb in the mid-19th century. Since then, the two plants have continued their journey hand in hand, with a focus on pleasure, sharing, and conviviality.
A blend of tea and fresh mint, green tea with mint is one of the star drinks of the Maghreb.
Adopted by nomadic populations, this hot drink, topped with sugar, not only traveled, but also gave rise to a veritable ceremony repeated several times a day. Indeed, according to tradition, green tea must be served three times a day. And there's no question of starting from scratch with each serving: the mint leaves continue to infuse for hours, which inevitably changes the taste and appearance of the drink at the end of the day.
“The first glass is as sweet as life. The second is as strong as love. The third is as bitter as death.”

Contrary to popular belief, mint is not limited to tea.
It is not uncommon to find it in infusion recipes.
Whether it plays the leading role as in Duo de Menthes , shares the bill as in the herbal tea Menthe Tilleul Verveine , or operates discreetly behind the scenes as in Retour de Soirée , it always manages to make an impression thanks to its inimitable flavor but also thanks to its numerous benefits.
Mint has been used for thousands of years – it is said that archaeologists came across dried mint leaves in the pyramids of Egypt – because it does not hesitate to come to the rescue of digestive problems . By stimulating the secretion of digestive juices and bile, mint contributes to digestive comfort. It is also said to help calm nausea and moderate bloating. Note that Menth'Olé Tea can also be an excellent partner for breakfast: it will help you rehydrate the body , eliminate toxins and give you a little boost!
