Today's gourmet idea: a dessert made with thyme-infused strawberries. A light, seasonal dessert where the sweetness of strawberries blends with the aromatic power of thyme. A recipe made with 100% plants and 100% fruit.
No doubt about it: with our thyme infusion , you'll be a hit!
- - 500 g of strawberries
- - 1 untreated lemon juice
- - 1 bag of 100% thyme herbal tea
- - 40g of caster sugar
- Squeeze the juice from the lemon
- Prepare a lemon syrup by mixing the juice, sugar, and 10 cl of water. Cook for about ten minutes.
- Meanwhile, steep the thyme sachet in a cup of boiling water for 5 minutes. Then remove the sachet.
- Mix the lemon syrup with the thyme infusion , then add the strawberries, which you will have previously washed, hulled and cut into quarters.
- Refrigerate the strawberry and thyme salad for an hour before serving chilled.
- In bowls, decorate the fruit with a few thyme leaves!
