What are the benefits of verbena in infusions?

However, this plant has a somewhat scandalous image as a love potion: 'sacred herb', 'witch's herb', 'Venus herb'...

Verbena was used in the past by the druids to predict the future and chase away spirits.

Ancient beliefs and traditions aside, we guarantee you a moment of unbridled calm and pleasure at the very least.

What kind of verbena used in Les 2 Marmottes infusions?

Taste is always the guiding light of our brewmasters!

Our scented verbena has been carefully selected from producers who share our values. It is then cut and blended in our workshops.

Les 2 Marmottes work directly with producers who have been committed to selecting plants on their native lands, according to the seasons, for 3 generations.

Grown in Morocco in the Ourika valley, verbena dries on the spot in a few hours, which allows us to work on the fullest leaves possible.

You won't find any added flavours in our infusions and teas: 100% plants and nothing more. We don't joke around with the druids...

In which recipes do our brewmasters use verbena?

We use it in our evening infusions: Night FairyYodie to bed little one!, and our famous Marmot Herbal Tea. In addition to its magical powers, its green leaves hold a lemony note that we just love. It forms a well-balanced trio in our Mint Linden Verbena house brew.

It's also a valued ally in the kitchen. To make a verbena syrup, let 500 ml of water and 500 g of sugar simmer in a saucepan. Infuse 10 of our Scented Verbena teabags for 20 minutes. Leave to cool. When the season comes, add strawberries...

So, still think verbena's out of style?
