La montagne, ça nous…régale !

There are those who love snow sports, nature lovers, those who love deckchairs at the foot of the slopes, and gourmets... In short, in the mountains there is something for everyone and you won't get bored. Heat up your thermoses and insulated water bottles , Les 2 Marmottes invites you to get some altitude and taste some of our winter infusions .

Choose your winter infusions

You've heard so much about the benefits of winter sports that you don't want to waste a minute thinking about hitting the slopes. On the agenda this week: learning ski touring, exploring snowy trails, working on your cardio on the cross-country ski trails, or burning off your remaining energy on a sled... Any sport is good for breaking records!

And once the day is over, traditions take over. How about a small cup of homemade Vin Chaud ? Its notes of orange, cinnamon , and cloves allow you to warm up at the foot of the slopes and share a truly convivial moment. In the non-alcoholic version, it's hot apple juice ! And for the bravest who would like to climb a few slopes, our winter Après-Ski herbal tea is made for you. Did you know that this recipe was created especially with the French Ski School (ESF) ?

Infusions for athletes

For you, the mountains in summer or winter don't necessarily rhyme with extreme sports, and you're right. Here, there's no jealousy, there's something for everyone. No need to travel miles; a few steps are enough to enjoy a breath of fresh air. Whether snowshoeing or on foot, connect with your surroundings: the frosted fir trees, the crunch of the snow underfoot, the cool wind on your face...

The perfect time to take a short break. Pack a few cereal bars in your hiking bag to keep you energized and a thermos filled with hot drinks: Chai tea or green tea with mint . These are recipes to enjoy with nature and nothing else.

Infusions for walking

A mountain vacation doesn't necessarily mean hiking, endless exercise, and endless effort. The mountains are also the ideal place to take a little break.

And the resorts have understood this well. Let yourself be carried away by a relaxing massage, a revitalizing treatment, a gourmet meal, a restful activity! Enjoy these moments with family when time stretches and the desire to share a hot drink around the fireplace is felt. In the cups, the scent of cinnamon diffuses. The Winter Frissons or Apple Cinnamon infusions are also a big hit around the table! Any Schuss gives you the thrill of speed without leaving your armchair or soft sofa.

But there's also the Marmot and Thyme Infusion, which delights the taste buds and is good for the whole family. Good to know if the mountain air makes you cough !

The perfect pack for winter sports

At Les 2 Marmottes, we always choose the most fragrant, tasty and colorful plants to make our infusions and teas. It's not for nothing that grandmother's remedies give pride of place to herbal teas in case of winter ailments .

So this winter, we're getting into plants!

Once steeped in hot water, our thyme herbal tea reveals all its aromatic power for a drink with decongestant benefits.

A classic for winter.

Harvested from a clove tree and highly sought after for its pungent, bitter, woody, and fruity aroma, it releases powerful notes that comfort the body and mind. Want to try clove? Try our Winter Frissons infusion.

Our marmots use Madagascar cinnamon for its subtle, woody flavor. These flavors can be found in our Chai Tea , for example, whether plain or in a Chai Latte version!

It is used in various recipes, such as 7th Heaven or the aptly named Lemon-Ginger infusion , to which it brings its slightly lemony spice, with a length in the mouth that accentuates other ingredients.
