La Citronnelle

Native to southern India and Sri Lanka, lemongrass grows in the tropical sunlight. Nicknamed "Indian verbena," it doesn't just season dishes or flavor herbal teas; it calms (almost) everything in its path!

Lemongrass gives you wings because of its many virtues. Known for fighting digestive problems, reducing cramps and flatulence, it is also popular in the West Indies among the Indians to reduce fever or treat ringworm. Used as a poultice, it can also relieve joint pain...

In short, lemongrass does good wherever it goes!

Behind the unusual appearance of lemongrass—a cross between a leek, papyrus, and giant tufts of grass—hides a captivating aroma. It's this unique taste, reminiscent of lemon, minus the acidity, that our two marmots have long been sniffing out.

Deliciously aromatic , lemongrass stalks have naturally found their place in some of our infusions.

Whether it is present in force as in Détox et Vous or more discreet (this is the case for example in our Citrus infusion), the taste of lemongrass never goes unnoticed.

As it has pep but without ever playing the aggressive card, it can easily find its place in recipes with character like 7ème Ciel , slip among the plants of Pause Toujours or blend into the joyful fruit-flower cocktail of our Tutti Fleuri herbal tea .

Always ready to calm things down, lemongrass unashamedly shares the spotlight with lemon balm , lemon and chamomile in 1,2,3… Sleep .

Finally, its legendary freshness and slightly tangy taste make it an ally of choice for invigorating infusions like Retour de Soirée or Lemon-Ginger .
